This British Standard specifies dimensions and materials and, where appropriate, tolerances for the following jig and fixture components:
base and jig plates
circular and rectangular blanks, bolsters, plates and blocks
clamps
clamp buttons, heel pins and jig feet
sections
nuts
spherical seatings and washers
knobs
“C” washers
shoulder screws.
A reference number has been allocated to each individual item to facilitate identification.
