Description

This standard deals with demands and potential solutions for accessibility on properties in terms of executing doors and gates and how they can be meaningfully combined with other types of technical installations within buildings. The standard is aimed at the following target groups: architects and engineers, contractors, consulting offices (e.g. home adaptation), welfare organisations and charitable institutions, municipal and national building authorities, house-builders and investors, the housing industry, affected individuals and their families, training and education institutions, sponsors of technical measures in line with the German Social Security Code (Sozialgesetzbuch, SGB), and funding bodies (e.g. the Development Loan Corporation-KfW).
