{"id":275690,"date":"2024-10-19T18:32:51","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T18:32:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-iso-228252017\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T14:58:03","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T14:58:03","slug":"bs-en-iso-228252017","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-iso-228252017\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN ISO 22825:2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This document specifies the approach to be followed when developing procedures for the ultrasonic testing of the following welds:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>welds in stainless steels;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>welds in nickel-based alloys;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>welds in duplex steels;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>dissimilar metal welds;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>austenitic welds.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The purposes of the testing can be very different, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>for the assessment of quality level (manufacturing);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>for the detection of specific discontinuities induced in service.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Acceptance levels are not included in this document, but can be applied in accordance with the scope of the testing (see 4.1).<\/p>\n<p>The requirements of this document are applicable to both manual and mechanized testing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Non-destructive testing of welds.
