a) filter class and colour code, that is, combined filters shall be colour coded orange\/white, e.g. Class 15 P3, colour coded orange\/white;
b) a mark or symbol showing if the filter is for a multiple filter device;
c) the sentence: \u201cFor single use only.\u201d;
d) the designation and year of this standard, i.e. BS 8468-2:2006;
e) the year and month of end of shelf life; the end of shelf life may be informed by a pictogram as shown in Figure 1 where the code \u201cyyyy\/mm\u201d indicates the year and month;
f) the manufacturer, supplier or importer shall be identified by name, trademark, or other means of identification;
g) the sentence: \u201cSee information supplied by the manufacturer.\u201d at least in the official language(s) of the country of destination, or the appropriate pictogram as shown in Figure 1; and
h) the manufacturer\u2019s model designation. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
16<\/td>\n7.5 Filter package
a) year and month of the end of shelf life; the end of shelf life may be informed by a pictogram as shown in Figure 1 where the code \u201cyyyy\/mm\u201d indicated the year and month;
b) the manufacturer\u2019s model designation;
c) the manufacturer\u2019s recommended conditions of storage (at least the temperature and humidity) or equivalent pictogram as shown in Figure 1.

7.6 Breathing hose(s) and couplings, belts and harness
8 Information supplied by the manufacturer
a) shall accompany the complete APD system and\/or full face mask and\/or filters (i.e. shall not necessarily accompany spare parts, valves, visors, etc.);
b) shall be at least in the official language(s) of the country of destination;
c) shall describe precisely and comprehensibly which permissible combinations of components are to be used;
d) shall describe suitable procedures for decontamination;
e) shall contain all information necessary for trained and qualified persons on:
2) for type B APDs, which optical systems the APD is designed to be compatible with; <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
17<\/td>\n3) type-identifying marking to ensure that the APD can be identified;
4) checks prior to use;
5) fitting;
6) how the filter(s) is inserted in the equipment for which it is (they are) designed and how that equipment is identified;
7) use;
8) maintenance;
9) storage of the full face mask\/filter\/complete APD; and
10) disposal;
f) shall be clear and comprehensible; if helpful, illustrations, part numbers and marking should be added;
g) shall include warnings against problems likely to be encountered, for example:
2) the hazards of oxygen and oxygen-enriched air;
3) the use of combined respiratory protective devices, especially those which are not directly connected to the full face mask
4) air quality;
5) use of equipment in explosive atmosphere; and
6) storage under conditions other than those specified by the manufacturer might affect the shelf life;
h) shall give an explanation of any colour coding and symbols used; and
i) shall give the name and address of manufacturer and\/or his authorized representative. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
