1.1<\/span> This practice covers the ability of a latex paint film to resist staining caused by the leaching of water-soluble materials when contacted with water shortly after application.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.2<\/span> Water staining is attributed to the leaching of surfactants or other water-soluble materials from a paint film.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.3<\/span> The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
