A detailed<br \/>\ncomparison of predictions with experimental data drawn from a wide<br \/>\nrange of sources including tunnel and flight results shows that the<br \/>\nsideforce derivative is predicted to within 0.06, the yawing moment<br \/>\nderivative to within 0.016, and the rolling moment derivative to<br \/>\nwithin 10 per cent. A comprehensive worked example shows the<br \/>\napplication of the methods.
