Die Richtlinie legt ein chromatografisches Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Levoglucosan in wässrigen Extrakten von Filterproben, die z.B. nach DIN EN 12341 gesammelt wurden, fest. Es ist für Konzentrationen von ca. 10 ng/m3 bis ca. 3000 ng/m3 bei einer Probenahmedauer von 24 Stunden erprobt. Das Verfahren ist auch zur Messung von Galactosan und Mannosan geeignet. Weiterhin können, teilweise unter bestimmten Einschränkungen, folgende Kohlenhydrate bestimmt werden: Inositol, Threitol/Erythritol, Arabitol, Mannose, Glucose, Galactose und Fructose.*www.vdi.de/2444
