Applies to non-ferrous fusible plugs for relieving steam pressure in boilers when low water is experienced. Upgrades the 1975 edition by addition of reference documents relating to material used in the body or casing of the plug and fusible material of the plug.

This Standard applies to non-ferrous fusible plugs for relieving steam pressure in boilers when low water is experienced.
