Specifies a method for measuring the resistance to local severe abrasion of a fibre rope. Suitable for multiple-layer fibre ropes (i.e. ropes with a sheath and core) used in extreme or emergency situations such as life rescue.
Scope
This Standard sets out a method for measuring the resistance to abrasion of multiple-layer fibre rope.
