Description

This document describes the safety requirements for gas springs and the correct installation instructions for nitrogen gas springs for use in stamping dies. The other parts of ISO 11901 describe the different designs in detail and are to be observed respectively.

The instructions and operating conditions described in Annex A help to maximise lifetime and ensure the safe operation of nitrogen gas springs.
