7.1 Documentation
a) manufacturer’s details;
b) whether the vehicle security barrier is a prototype or is in production;
c) which face of the vehicle security barrier is designed to resist impact;
d) general arrangement drawings, including installation instructions with tolerances;
e) component drawings and foundation designs with dimensions, tolerances and all material specifications and finishes;
f) factory sub-assembly drawings;
g) parts list;
h) certification of compliance for component materials;
i) maintenance and repair instructions;
j) any other relevant information (e.g. recycling information, details of toxic or dangerous materials in the product).

a) one panned camera operating in real time, sited at right angles to the path of the vehicle and in a suitable position to obtain a clear overall pictorial record of the impact and its consequences;
b) one high-speed camera on each side of the barrier, and in-line with the barrier, to record the vehicle to barrier interaction;

18 10.3 Test procedure
a) weight of the test vehicle;
b) vehicle dimensions;
c) location of the centre of gravity of the test vehicle in the test condition including added ballast;
d) interior and exterior photographs of the test vehicle (to aid the assessment of survivability).
10.3.1 Test data
a) test vehicle impact speed, measured along the test vehicle approach path at no further than 8 m before the impact point;
b) test vehicle approach angle, measured along the vehicle approach path no further than 8 m before the impact point;
c) test vehicle impact point;
d) height of test item impact point;
e) photographic records from high-speed cine film cameras and/or high speed video cameras deployed in such a way as to give a complete record of the test vehicle response and test object behaviour, including deformation and deflections.
10.3.2 Post test data
a) damage to the test item and test vehicle;
b) distortion and displacement to the vehicle barrier system;
c) still photographs at 90 and 45 degrees to main vehicle axes to aid reporting;
d) interior and exterior photographs of the test vehicle;
e) the operating cycle (rise/fall) of an active barrier system with the vehicle in place;
f) the operating cycle (rise/fall) of an active barrier system with the vehicle removed (as necessary);
g) in the case of a bollard, with the vehicle removed, the angle of inclination from the horizontal of the bollard as shown in Figure 5, to determine the deformation characteristics.

11.2.1 Principle
11.2.2 Apparatus
a) a foundation constructed to the requirements specified by the supplier of the test item; or
b) an approved rigid test foundation, as specified in Annex B.

11.2.3 Test item
11.3 Test procedure
a) bollard: the vertical, installation depth, concrete grade required and the curing time (normal minimum 28 days);
b) weight of pendulum impactor to within ± 20 kg;
c) photographs of bollard: front and side elevation;
d) the height of the impactor contact point above the datum line;
e) the height of the impactor above the datum line minus the impact height at the moment of release.

a) Velocity of pendulum impactor immediately before impact;
b) High-speed video of impact (optional);
c) Impact characteristics;
d) Acceleration of the bollard and the time history of the impact.
11.3.2 Post test data
a) Photograph/s of pendulum impactor;
b) Photograph/s of damage and deformation of the bollard;
c) Angle of inclination of bollard (see Figure 5);
d) Damage to the test item including movement of the foundation, irregularities in the gap between the bollard and its foundation container (sleeve), change in the bollard section, fracture of any components including security fixings;
e) The operating cycle (rise/fall) of the bollard.
