This standard Covers plain-ended, seam-welded aluminum DWV pipe and components for use in plumbing systems and building sewers. This standard It includes minimum standards for material, workmanship, dimensions, weld strength, pressure testing, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance and marking. (1) Recommended installation practices for aluminum DWV pipe are given in Appendix A. Use of these recommended practices will help to ensure proper installation and optimum service life. (2) Dimensions shows in brackets are for information purpose.
