Diese Internationale Norm legt Begriffe für Werkzeugbauteile von Einspritzsystemen in Spritzgießwerkzeugen zur Verarbeitung von Thermoplasten, Duroplasten und Elastomeren fest. Dieses sind Einspritzsysteme für erstarrende Angüsse für außen- und innenbeheizte Einspritzsysteme und Kaltkanalsysteme. Zweck dieser Internationaler Norm ist es, einheitliche Begriffe für die unterschiedlichen Einspritzsysteme in die Fachsprache einzuführen. Werkzeugbauteile und zum Teil der Aufbau unterschiedlicher Einspritzsysteme sind in den Bildern 1 bis 12 dargestellt. Die Bilder sind beispielhaft und für die Konstruktion der Spritzgießwerkzeuge unverbindlich.
