In analogy to VDI 3633 Part 1, this standard is restricted to the application areas of simulation in the fields of conveyor technology, material flow, logistics and production, including the analysis of information-logistic issues in companies and company networks. This standard was revised relating to terms and standards, the simulation procedure model used in VDI 3633 Part 1, as well as references.
