Temperature measurement in industry – Radiation thermometry – Maintenance and intended operation of radiation thermometers

The operation according to specification and the maintenance of radiation thermometers are the prerequisites for temperature measurements with the specified accuracy. The standard describes typical error sources in temperature measurement and suggests countermeasures. Maintenance to be performed by the user and testings to be carried out by accredited laboratories are also described.
