IEC TR 62453-51-20:2017(E) provides information for integrating the CIPā„¢ technology into the COM-based implementation of FDT interface specification (IEC TR 62453-41).Ā The Communication Profile Family 2 (commonly known as CIPā„¢Ā defines communication profiles based on IECĀ 61158-2 TypeĀ 2, IECĀ 61158-3-2, IECĀ 61158-4-2, IECĀ 61158-5-2, and IECĀ 61158-6-2, IECĀ 62026-3. The basic profiles CPĀ 2/1 (ControlNetā„¢, CPĀ 2/2 (EtherNet/IPā„¢, and CPĀ 2/3 (DeviceNetā„¢1) are defined in IECĀ 61784-1 and IECĀ 61784-2. An additional communication profile (CompoNetā„¢),also based on CIPā„¢, is defined in [15].Ā This document specifies implementation of communication and other services based on IECĀ 62453-302.
