1 Scope
1.1 This outline covers the requirements for one- or multi-conductor telecommunication central office power, battery and distribution cables for use in telecommunication central office power plants. The cables are rated 75, 90, or 105°C (167, 194, or 221°F) dry, optionally 60, 75, or 90°C (140, 167, or 194°F) wet, and 300, 600, 1000, or 2000 V.
