JIS 2017-10-20 32
]]>
This Standard specifies the safety and interchangeability requirements, together with the test methods and conditions required to show compliance of LED-lamps with integrated means for stable operation (hereafter referred to as lamps), intended for domestic and similar general lighting purposes, having:

– a rated wattage up to 60 W;

– a rated voltage of> 50 V up to 250 V;

– caps according to Table 1.

The requirements of this Standard relate only to type testing.

NOTE 1 Where in this Standard the term "lamp(s)" is used, it is understood to stand for "self-ballasted LED lamp(s)", except where it is obviously assigned to other types of lamps.

NOTE 2 This Standard includes photobiological safety.

NOTE 3 The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

IEC 62560: 2011 Self-ballasted LED-lamps for general lighting services by voltage> 50 V-Safety specifications and Amendment 1: 2015 (MOD)

In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21-1.

This Standard specifies the performance and marking of single white LEDs for generallighting service and LED modules for general lighting service.

However, LED luminaires and self-ballasted LED-lamps integrated by incorporating LED modules for general lighting service that are not assumed to be exchanged and maintained by general users are not included.

The electric power supplied to the LED modules for general lighting service shall be as follows.

a) Electric power obtained directly from a commercial power supply

b) Electric power obtained through a copper iron type transformer or an electronic transformer from a commercial power supply

c) Electric power of DC 250 V or less, or of AC 1 000 V or less at 50 Hz or 60 Hz in the range of supply voltage

The tests specified in this Standard are type tests excluding test methods that are to be performed on individual modules by the manufacturer in the manufacturing process.

]]>
IEC TS 62861:2017(E) This Technical Specification provides guidelines for establishing confidence in product reliability using principal component testing for LED light sources and LED luminaires for general lighting. It includes methods and criteria using initial qualification tests and accelerated stress tests of the principal components. The performance of any principal component will influence the performance of the final product.
Techniques to validate full lifetime claims and lumen maintenance projection are outside the scope of this Technical Specification. The following principal components are included in the testing if they are used as an integral part for the LED light source or LED luminaire:
– LED package and interconnects;
– optical materials;
– electronic subassemblies;
– cooling systems, both active (e.g. fans) and passive (e.g. thermal interface material);
– construction materials.
This Technical Specification is not recommended for use as a normative reference to the LED product performance standards.

Published By Publication Date Number of Pages
IEC 2019-07-10 40
]]>
IEC TR 63037:2019 provides guidance to controlgear/integrated lamp designers for the development of products suitable to operate with future phase-cut dimmers. It describes the possible voltage signals and the expected response of the controlgear/integrated lamps. This document describes the expected response of controlgear during all operation states of a phase-cut lighting system and provides a complete understanding of the requirements for phase-cut dimmers. The response of a phase-cut dimmer is described in IEC 60669-2-1:—, Annex EE. This document specifies the system performance aspects and test procedures for the control by mains voltage phase-cut dimming of the brightness of mains operated electronic lighting equipment intended to be controlled by mains voltage phase-cut dimmers, such as LED integrated lamps and light sources with external controlgear. Safety requirements are not covered by this document, but by respective product standards. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2016. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
– emission of audible noise;
– ghosting caused by issues that are not related to the power supply of the dimmer or synchronization;
– stability of phase angle waveform (for the dimmer), including symmetry and stability tests;
– flicker of light loads;
– repetitive ring up voltage;
– dimming range; and
– number of switching cycles have been added.

]]>
IEC TR 63037:2016(E) specifies the electrical interface between phase-cut dimming equipment and lighting equipment, such as LED integrated lamps and light sources with external controlgear, with the intention of helping designers of both types of equipment to develop products that will work together properly. This document describes both the dimming phase and the off phase. In addition to the specification of the interface, test procedures are given for testing the proper operation. It may be expected that controlgear fulfilling the requirements of this document are also suited to be used with electronic switches that use a circuitry comparable with that of a phase-cut dimmer, but do not contain means for the adjustability of the phase-cut angle. Safety requirements are not covered by this document, but by respective product standards.
