Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n 1.1<\/span> These test methods cover those insulation products in specified Specification C208<\/span>. The requirements for the products\u2019 physical properties are specified in Specification C208<\/span>. The methods for the general insulation products\u2019 physical properties are given as follows:<\/p>\n 1.2<\/span> Reference is provided to an established source for nomenclature and definitions.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n 1.3<\/span> Several of the test methods contained in this document are referenced by material specifications other than cellulosic fiber insulating board. These include mineral fiber, perlite, polyisocyanurate, polystyrene and phenolic materials.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n 1.4<\/span> This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
