The following extraction systems are covered as well:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>back draft ventilation systems;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>downdraft ventilation systems;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>fume extraction modules.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This International Standard deals with the safety of electrically operated commercial <b>hoods<\/b> intended for installation above commercial cooking appliances such as ranges, griddles, griddle grills and deep fat fryers, and not intended for household and similar use, their <b>rated voltage<\/b> being not more than 250&nbsp;V for single phase <b>hoods<\/b> connected between one phase and neutral, and 480&nbsp;V for other <b>hoods<\/b>.
