The method is not limited to thermostat metals and can be used for spiral coils of other materials for which the torque rate must be measured accurately. <\/p>\n<p>1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The metric equivalents of inch-pound units may be approximate.<\/p>\n<p>1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any associated with its use.
