{"id":379720,"date":"2024-10-20T03:03:44","date_gmt":"2024-10-20T03:03:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bsi-21-30398233-dc\/"},"modified":"2024-10-26T05:30:44","modified_gmt":"2024-10-26T05:30:44","slug":"bsi-21-30398233-dc","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bsi-21-30398233-dc\/","title":{"rendered":"BSI 21\/30398233 DC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This document specifies dimensions for receivers with taper and flange contact surfaces for hollow taper shanks (HSK) in accordance with <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;12164-3<\/span> <\/span> to be applied to machine tools (turning and combinations of turning and milling machines).<\/p>\n<p>This document specifies two types of receivers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Type&nbsp;T for automatic tool change;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Type&nbsp;U for manual tool change only, via radial holes in both the receiver and the tool shank.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE 1\n <\/div>\n<p>The receivers of types T and U fit the HSK shanks T, TA and U (according to <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">ISO 12164-3<\/span> <\/span>). The receivers also fit the HSK shanks A, AB, C and CB (for A and C according to <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">ISO 12164-1:2001<\/span> <\/span>; for AB and CB according to <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">ISO 12164-1<\/span> <\/span>).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE 2\n <\/div>\n<p>HSK types A, AB, C, CB, T and TA can also be changed manually.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>BS ISO 12164-4.
