Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1<\/span> This test method covers the determination of trace quantities of acetaldehyde, in the range from 0.00 to 0.05\u2009%, contained in 99\u2009% grade vinyl acetate.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

1.2<\/span> For purposes of determining conformance of an observed or a calculated value using this test method to relevant specifications, test result(s) shall be rounded off \u201cto the nearest unit\u201d in the last right-hand digit used in expressing the specification limit, in accordance with the rounding-off method of Practice E29<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.3<\/span> The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
