ASTM D1555M<\/h4>\n

Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1 This standard is for use in calculating the weight and volume of benzene, toluene, mixed xylenes, styrene, ortho-xylene, meta-xylene, para-xylene, cumene, ethylbenzene, 148.9 to 176.7\u00b0C and 176.7 to 204.4\u00b0C aromatic hydrocarbons, and cyclohexane. A method is given for calculating the volume at 15\u00b0C from an observed volume at t<\/i>\u00b0C. Table 1 lists the density in grams per cubic centimetre at 15\u00b0C for high purity chemicals.<\/p>\n

1.2 Calculated results shall be rounded off in accordance with the rounding-off method of Practice E 29.<\/p>\n
