{"id":486221,"date":"2024-11-05T12:13:05","date_gmt":"2024-11-05T12:13:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/agma-2116-a05\/"},"modified":"2024-11-05T12:13:05","modified_gmt":"2024-11-05T12:13:05","slug":"agma-2116-a05","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/agma\/agma-2116-a05\/","title":{"rendered":"AGMA 2116-A05"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n<u><strong>SCOPE<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p>\tThis standard provides evaluation methods for double flank testers used for radial composite measurement of gears.\u00a0 Recommendations are given for use of artifacts.\u00a0 Annex A is informative and provides methods for estimating uncertainty.\u00a0 Annex B is normative and provides requirements for artifact calibration certificates.<\/p>\n<p>\n<u><strong>FOREWORD<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p>\t[The foreword, footnotes and annexes, if any, in this document are provided for informational purposes only and are not to be construed as a part of ANSI\/AGMA 2116-A05, <em>Evaluation of Double Flank Testers for Radial Composite Measurement of Gears<\/em>.]<\/p>\n<p>\tBetween 1994 and 1998, AGMA published three standards on calibration of gear measuring instruments: ANSI\/AGMA 2010-A94, <em>Measuring Instrument Calibration \u2013Part I, Involute Measurement<\/em>, ANSI\/AGMA 2113-A97, <em>Measuring Instrument Calibration, Gear Tooth Alignment Measurement<\/em>, and ANSI\/AGMA 2114-A98, <em>Measuring Instrument Calibration, Gear Pitch and Runout Measurements<\/em>.
