This Standard is technically equivalent to and has been reproduced from IEC 60923:1995. <\/p>\n<p><b>Scope<\/b><\/p>\n<p> This standard specifies performance requirements for ballasts for discharge lamps such as high-pressure mercury vapour, low-pressure sodium vapour, high-pressure sodium vapour and metal halide lamps. Each section details specific requirements for a particular type of ballast.
