This is the third edition of CAN\/CSA-Z431, Basic and safety principles for man-machine interface, marking and identification – Coding principles for indicators and actuators, which is an adoption, with Canadian deviations, of the identically titled IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard 60073 (sixth edition, 2002-05). It supersedes the previous edition, published in 2002 as CAN\/CSA-Z431, Basic and safety principles for man-machine interface, marking and identification – Coding principles for indication devices and actuators (adopted CEI\/IEC 73:1996).<\/p>\n
