The types of<br \/>\nsheaths or shields included are: <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Wires, applied ether helically, as braid or serving; or<br \/>\nlongitudinally with corrugations. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Helically applied flat tape, not overlapped. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Helically applied, overlapped, flat tape. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Corrugated tape, longitudinally applied. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Tubular sheath. <\/p>\n<p>The types of cable materials in contact with the sheath or<br \/>\nshield are: crosslinked (thermoset), thermoplastic, impregnated<br \/>\npaper, and varnished cloth. <\/p>\n<p>The materials which determine the maximum allowable short<br \/>\ncircuit temperatures are: paper, varnished cloth and several<br \/>\nthermoplastic and thermosetting materials presently appearing in<br \/>\nICEA standards.
