The tests may be applied to positioners which receive standard analogue electrical input signals (as specified in IEC 60381) and\/or digital signals via a data communication link and have a pneumatic output. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2004 and constitutes a technical revision. The significant changes with respect to the previous edition are: The standard has been optimized for usability and the test procedures have been reviewed regarding applicability for use in test facilities.
