The scope of<br \/>\nthis standard includes the following topics:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Descriptions of the specified functional capabilit ies that<br \/>\nprovide packet data services across the BS-PCF interface;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Descriptions of the division of responsibility of the<br \/>\nfunctions provided between the BS and the PCF without prescribing<br \/>\nspecific implementations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this document is to provide the standard for<br \/>\ninterfacing a PCF with one or more BSs. This document defines the<br \/>\nfunctional capabilities, including services and features, of the<br \/>\nspecified interface.
