Effective January<br \/>\n1,2000, the frequency band 2165-2200 MHz will be allocated in the<br \/>\nUnited States and Canada to both the FS and MSS<br \/>\n(space-to-Earth).<sup>1<\/sup> However, in accordance with the ITU<br \/>\nRadio Regulations (RR), the subject frequency sharing situations<br \/>\ncan also arise in the 2160-2165 MHz band.
