Description

This document specifies the methods for assessing the required product properties of factory-made aerogel thermal insulation blanket products for use in buildings. This standard also specifies the requirements for evaluation of conformity, marking and labelling.

This standard does not specify the required level of a given product property to demonstrate fitness for purpose in a particular application. The levels required for a given application are to be found in governing regulations or non-conflicting standards.
