Grade 1 covers materials to be used on commercial or industrial systems with operating temperatures from \u2013183 to 104\u00b0C [\u2013297 to 220\u00b0F], Grade 2 covers material used on industrial systems with operating temperatures from \u2013183 to 175\u00b0C [\u2013297 to 350\u00b0F], and Grade 3 covers material used on industrial systems with operating temperatures from \u2013183 to 120\u00b0C [\u2013297 to 250\u00b0F] where halogens are not permitted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"SectionLevel2\">\n<p class=\"subsec1 cdone2\"><span class=\"Head3 cdone\">1.2<\/span>&nbsp;The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other.
